Like damn this thing looks pissed off.
I did learn they sell this with a 201 horsepower turbocharged 1.6L, which is pretty cool.
Probably a car I'd look at if I was shopping in this category.

This double grille bullshit needs to stop. Now.

It really does. The normal Forte sedan has a single grille and it looks pretty good.
I don't understand why the sedan and hatchback/coupe have different front ends.

Best thing is only 50% of the lower grille actually looks functional. Which I guess is the same on all new cars.

I hated this on my Focus too. Why did it need a split grille disease? The FiST and FoST have it right. It might be huge, but its just one stinking grille.

huh, 201 HP, eh? 6-speed manual? That could be a highly entertaining little hatch -says the owner of a FieSTa-

The GF picked up a '14 Forte5 EX back in March. I'll admit it looks good.
Also gave me a taste of the MQB chasis that the new Golf is being built on. Me likey. The Forte5 is twist beam rear too.

To be fair the new Forte 5/Koup with this front Fascia debuted well before the Corolla

Yep. It was one I was trying to wait for before buying my car, but it took forever. I still occasionally check the stock at my local Kia dealer because I'd like to see it, but I have yet to see a single Forte 5 SX, let alone one with a manual.
